By far, this is my favorite Lewis Hine photograph. It has everything you would like in a great Hine. A great subject, showing strong character in a space that defines her situation. This has all those and more. I have a print of this in my personal collection, and you can have one in yours. The print was made in the 1970s by the George Eastman House, the great photography collection in Rochester, NY.
